Bangalore, Sep 8: In yet another case of sexual misconduct on the part of a teacher, a computer teacher was sacked by a school here on complaints that he was showing porn to girl students in the laboratory.

Authorities at the Kendriya Vidyalaya at Army cantonment in Gandhinagar sacked Ashish Jani after receiving complaints from class seven girls that he would not only watch the porn in the computer laboratory but also force them to watch along with him, Times of India reported.

"The teacher was found guilty of misconduct and we have removed him from the school," Nutan Punj, principal of the school, is quoted as saying.

Despite action from the school, parents accuse the authorities of letting off the teacher too easily, the newspaper report published on Wednesday, Sep 8 said.

A girl student's father charged the teacher of much more serious crimes of stripping and molesting the girls. He also alleged that the teacher went into the changing room of the girls after Independence Day celebrations and messed around with the girls by removing their clothes.

"After the incident, my daughter had become extremely reticent and was afraid of going to the school. On being asked, she narrated how the computer teacher would open porn sites in front of girls, and indulge in sex talks. Once, he closed the doors of the lab and took off the clothes of my daughter and her class mates," the parent is quoted as saying.

The parent argued that the teacher did not face serious consequences as he was a relative of another teacher.

The school authorities, however, refuted the charges.
