
Patna, Sep 2: Though Bihar government hoped that they would be successful to release the four cops, abducted by the Naxals, but the death news of one of them proved them wrong.
The Naxals have killed Abhay Yadav, one of the four policemen and his body would be handed to the state police at night on Sep 2.
During an encounter on Sunday, Aug 29, Naxals kidnapped four policemen, Mohammad Ehsaan, Rupesh Kumar Sinha, Abhay Prasad Yadav, Lokus Tete.
The demands of the Naxals are, to free the jailed colleagues of the militants and withdrawn of security forces from Naxal areas in exchange for the policemen's freedom.
The second deadline, given by the extremists, was ended at 10 am on Thursday, Sep 2.
However, Naxals informed in the morning on Sep 2 that the abducted police men were safe but by the end of the day, the death news came which stirred the country.
The CM of the state, Nitish Kumar expressed his grief over the incident and promised all kind of aid and support to the unfortunate families of the kidnapped police officials.
