Los Angeles, Aug 27: Google Inc launched a new website which indexes and serves up status updates, messages and other public content from social network hubs on Thursday, Aug 26.

The new Website, Google Realtime, helps the users to sift through news, comments and other information on the Internet in real time, letting them follow conversations on websites like Twitter and Facebook.

The links on the search result of the website will allow the users to track conversations on the Internet, back-and-forth comments about a particular topic, in real time. Another click allow users choose to monitor discussions from a specific geographic location in English, Japanese, Russian or Spanish.

The users can tell Google that they only want to see results from a specific geographic location or only results with images. Google also added search alerts for real-time results, so that users can be notified via e-mail whenever Google Realtime discovers a specific query term while crawling its real-time sources."You can create an alert specifically for 'updates' to get an email the moment your topic appears on Twitter or other short-form services. Or, if you want to manage your email volume, you can set alerts to email you once per day or week," said Google during the launch.
