Another plane crashes in China, no casualties

Beijing, Aug 27: A passenger plane overshot the runway during landing in China on Thursday, Aug 26, casualties were not reported.

The plane operated by Tianjin Airlines overshot the runway at the Wuyu International Airport in Nanning city in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and slid on to the grassy patches.

The new incident happened just hours after an aircraft crashed killing 42 people and injuring 54 on Wednesday, Aug 25.

The Chinese officials reported that plane slid destroyed several runway lights but there were no reports of casualties or damages to the plane. The incident interrupted the airport traffic and the airport was closed for an hour before reopening.
