According the sources, while their flight took off from Thiruvananthapuram at 5 am on Tuesday, Aug 24, it returned within half an hour due to a technical snag.
However, their flight has been rescheduled for the afternoon on Tuesday, Aug 24.
The newly married couple were moving to Dubai on Aug 24 to attend a reception party and move on to Spain for a short honeymoon, sources said.
Tharoor and Sunanda tied the knot on the very first day of Onam on Aug 22 at the 200-year-old ancestral house in Kerala.
