Shashi Tharror ties knot with Sunanda Pushkar

Palakkad, Aug 22: After much controversies, finally Shashi Tharoor exchanged his flower and tied the knot with Sunanda Pushkar at Palakkad district of Kerala on Sunday, Aug 22.

All family members and close friends were present in the 100-year-old ancestral home of Tharoor on the first day of Onam to bless and wish the newly married couple.

The two will set out for former Union Minister Tharoor's parliamentary constituency of Thiruvananthapuram on Aug 23.

A Kashmiri wedding ceremony will take place in Dubai on Aug 30 as Sunanada, the daughter of a retired army colonel hails from the Kashmir valley.

According the sources, this is Tharoor's third marriage.

Tharoor and Sunanda faced heat from several spheres over the allegations of corruption and misuse of power in the wake of the Indian Premier League (IPL) Kochi controversy.
