Karachi, Aug.21:  The banned militant groups like Laskhar-e-Taiba (LeT) , Jamat-ud-Daawa (JuD) and Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) have login to famous social networking sites  such as Twitter and Facebook to woo youngsters in violence against Non-Muslim nations.

According to reports, these banned Pakistan based terror groups are utilising Twitter and Facebook for spreading their agenda by posting comments and bashing the West and other non-Muslim countries.

The JuD, which is blacklisted by the UN and is blamed for masterminding the ghastly November 2008 terror attack on Mumbai, and SSP have their own Facebook pages depicting their violent aims.

"Social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook give such groups a forum for carrying forward their agenda," The Daily Times quoted Amir Rana, an author and expert on the Taliban and militancy.

Rana highlighted that these networking sites have become effective tools for such proscribed groups to carry forward their 'jihad' ideology.

While Pakistani agencies have restricted access to hundreds of Internet pages containing anti-Islamic content, but they have failed to counter terror groups from to operating in the web world.
