I am happy about Madani's arrest: Yeddyurappa

BS Yeddyurappa
Bangalore, Aug 18: B S Yeddyurappa, Karnataka chief minister, expressed happiness over the arrest of PDP leader Abdul Nasser Madani, an accused in the 2008 Bangalore serial blasts case.

B S Yeddyurappa told reporters, "I am happy about it. People have been expecting his arrest since the past few days."

CM complicated the Karnataka police for their success in taking Abdul Nasser Madani into custody.

Yeddyurappa also thanked the Kerala government for its cooperation in getting him arrested.

The Karnataka police team, camping in Kollam since Aug 10, executed the non-bailable arrest warrant hours before a deadline set by a Bangalore court was to expire.

Madani was listed as 31st accused in the additional chargesheet in the Bangalore blasts, which left a woman dead and 20 others injured here on Jul 25, 2008.

People like him should be strictly punished as per the law of the country for supporting and aiding other terrorists in the country. Jihadis have no legal right to stay in the country.

This is to response to Mr. SKG, i am totally agreed with you on conditionally i.e. if Mr. Madani involved, if he does not why he should be punished like Coimbatore case what happend Honorable Court of Tamill Nadu declared that he is innocent and unlawfully he was imprisoned for 9.5years, now tell me who is responsible for that. Please refer our Honorable Home Minister statement that iteself is good enough to arrest the right people including ADVANI, MR. Modi
