Tapes showing CIA questioning 9/11 plotter emerge

CIA
Washington, Aug 17: Years after the videos of al-Qaeda operatives being waterboarded created a storm across the world, the CIA and United States may face more heat as videos of 9/11 plotter Ramzi Binalshibh being interrogated in a secret overseas prison have emerged.

Speaking to an international news agency on the condition of anonymity, US officials said that the two videotapes and one audiotape, which depict Binalshibh"s interrogation sessions at a Moroccan-run facility, could provide an unparalleled look at how foreign governments aided the US in holding and questioning suspected terrorists.

These recordings are believed to be the only ones remaining as CIA has already destroyed its cache of 92 videos of two other al-Qaeda operatives, Abu Zubaydah and Abd al-Nashiri, being waterboarded in 2005.

The tapes, which have newly emerged, is a closely guarded secret. They were reportedly discovered by a staffer in 2007 in a box tucked under a desk in the CIA"s Counterterrorism Center.

A Justice Department prosecutor, who is already investigating whether destroying the Zubaydah and al-Nashiri tapes was illegal or not, is now reportedly also probing why the Binalshibh tapes were never disclosed.

The use of torture to obtain forced confessions only confirms that the so called terrorists attacks of 9-11 was a US/Israel covert false flag operation to justifiy the already planned invasions on Afghanistan and Iraq.
