New York, Aug 16: Samsung plans to launch it's latest 4G mobile phone, Epic 4G, by the end of Aug 2010.
Epic 4G will be US" first 4G-capable Phone. It will provide a living room entertainment experience to a mobile phone, offering HD-like video through the first video store with movies and TV shows.
Epic 4G is loaded with Android 2.1 OS and 4 inch super Amoled touch screen. It has a sliding full 'QWERTY' keyboard and dual camera. VGA camera on the front panel will helps for video conferencing and the rear camera has 5 megapixel with LED flash and 3x digital zoom.
The latest smartphone from Samsung will offers a fully integrated multimedia, messaging and social networking experience. The user can also access to Samsung Media Hub using Epic 4G.
Epic 4G also features Samsung"s exclusive AllShare service. Through this service users will be able to capture moments with the phone"s camera and camcorder, and wirelessly show them to friends or family on their DLNA certified HDTV and also can download music from a PC to phone and take on the road.
The new features include advanced touch screen gestures like multi-touch pinch, long tap and zoom and vertical and horizontal swiping. It is also loaded with Samsung 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird Application Processor, visual voicemail and Wi-Fi.
