Rhinebeck, Jul 30: Even though the details on the Chelsea Clinton wedding has been scarce, it has been estimated that the former first daughter's wedding could hit a whopping 3 million mark.

According to an international news agency report, wedding industry experts peg the Clinton wedding expenditure at around $2 million, $3 million or more.

These figures come in sharp contrast against the average $24,000 that most Americans shell out for weddings. Some estimates even put the Clinton wedding cost at close to $5 million.

While an average American wedding has around 150 guests, Chelsea's wedding is expected to have 400 to 500 guests.

Sally Kilbridge, deputy editor of Brides, who expressed confidence that Chelsea would not go beyond the 3 million mark, said, "I'm going to say 2 to 3 million. Just because I don't know if they will go that over the top when it comes to every little item of the wedding, and possibly because it's not really Chelsea Clinton's style."
