Sarah Palin encounters brown bear on fishing trip

London, July 29 (ANI): Sarah Palin had an encounter with a brown bear while she was on a fishing expedition in Alaska.

Palin saw a mother bear with her cubs during her salmon fishing expedition in Alaska, reports the Telegraph.he 46-year-old politician was on a boat with her husband, Todd, their nine-year-old daughter, Piper, and friends in Wolverine Creek when the bears emerged from the trees.

Palin and the bear saw eye to eye before the animal wandered off with her cubs leaving the Palins looking stunned.

Wolverine Creek is a popular destination for bear watchers where they often come within a few feet of anglers' boats.

Palin's latest campaign-style video, released on the Internet earlier in July 2010, warned Washington to watch out for angry 'mama grizzlies' who are ready to 'get our country back on the right track'. (ANI)

where the hell did you get the impression Sarah Palin looked stunned after seeing the bear? She has seen hundreds of bears... she is from friggin Alaska, you liberal biased hater... typical liberal biased media bullcrap wording. Another piece of bull crap publication.

Get over yourself James. I lived in Alaska too, have worked there on a yearly basis for the last 20 yrs. Hundreds of bears? Bears are typically shy and gone as soon as they hear or smell ya coming. I've spent a good amount of time in close proximity to bears, seen them from a distance and they move away but only once where I felt like I was being sized up as a potential threat.
