Dharamsala, Jul 29: After rejecting the bail permission by the High Court, the four medical students, accused of Aman Kachroo ragging case, had surrendered to a local Himachal Pradesh court on Thursday, Jul 29.
"All the four accused have surrendered in fast-track court of Purinder Vaidya," said District Deputy Attorney R K Kaushal.
"The order passed by the trial court granting bail to the accused is against law, accordingly quashed and set aside," said High Court.
Aman Kachroo, 19, died on Mar8, 2009, a few hours after being allegedly ragged by the four final-year students of the Rajendra Prasad Medical College in Tanda town near Dharamsala.
"Kachroo collapsed and died because of injuries, which the post-mortem report has linked to the incident of ragging," stated the post-mortem report.
Ajay Verma, Naveen Verma, Abhinav Verma and Mukul Sharma were the main four accused for the ragging Aman to death.
