Terror lingers on 2010 Commonwealth Games

New Delhi, Jul 23: Punjab police disclosed a terrific news for India, which is going to organize Commonwealth Games in Oct 2010.

According to CNN-IBN, at least 15 kgs of RDX had been smuggled into India by six Pakistan-based militants who are under pressure from the ISI to carry out terror strikes during the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

Khalistan Zindabad chief Ranjeet Singh Neeta had planned to accomplish the blasts.

According the channel, one person was arrested in Rajpura with 5 kg RDX.

Police informed that they are hopeful to track down another 10 kgs RDX which had been supplied to Sirsa district in Haryana.

when a nation is so unprepared as the Organizing Committee for the CWG, then you leave yourself totally open to such threats, as you have no plan, or vision but rather desparation to put band aids on each wound. Mr. Kalmadi should resign and the political parties need to jointly demonstrate leadership in the interest of the nation's image and reputation. Otherwise this mess will leave longstanding damage to all Indians in our capability to host major events. The organizers should be sternly...
