Now Shiv Sena starts protest against AP

Hyderabad, Jul 22: Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra border tension prevailed, earlier with TDP protest and now it's Shiv Sena.

After TDP protested against Maharashtra's Babli dam project, now Shiv Sena had started a controversy over a lift irrigation project in Andhra Pradesh.

Shiv Sena activists on Thursday, Jul 22 had begun their march towards the Salura lift irrigation project across the Manjira river, near Nizamabad district of Andhra Pradesh.

Andhra Pradesh had allotted police forces on the border to stop them.

Shiv Sena had alleged that the project had come up on Maharashtra territory.

The Maharashtra government also had raised objections in 2004 when the construction of the project was taken up.

Addressing party workers and sainiks after inaugurating the 'Sena Bhavan' in the busy Deccan Gymkhana area, Mr Thackeray said the Sena was not satisfied by getting the posts of Mayor or Deputy Mayor.....
