Share your story, get mushy with Facebook

Facebook
Bangalore, Jul 22: Facebook has hit the 500 million million user mark and the social networking site is celebrating its latest milestone by dedicating its success to the people, their stories and their feedback.

Touching the half billion mark, the world famous site is now inching closer by the second to the whoping 1 billion users record. However, numbers does not seem to matter for CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

In an interview with ABC News, Zuckerberg said that Facebook is only interested in listening to what its users have to say.

In line with this claim, the social networking giant has launched a brand new feature - 'Facebook Stories', which would act as a forum where people could share stories about how Facebook has changed their lives.

Danish Prime Minister who organized a jog with 100 of his Facebook fans, and a story on a woman who claims that a friend's Facebook status may have saved her from cancer are among those already posted on Facebook Stories, the Switched reported.

Besides this, Facebook has also gone ahead and compiled a photo album, featuring all of the appreciative messages that it has received over the years from its users.
