New York, July 8 (ANI): Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina has said that the judges decision of sentencing her daughter for 90 days in jail is unfair.
"This is so not fair to do this to my child," the New York Daily News quoted Dina as telling PopEater.
Putting the differences aside, even Lohan's father Michael has expressed grief over the ordeal but wants Lohan to join rehab for her better.
"[Jail] is the last thing I wanted for my daughter," he told RadarOnline.com.
"These [prescription] drugs are killing my daughter and killing millions of kids in America, and someone has to stop it.
"Lindsay needs to go into a rehab that takes you off prescription drugs, not puts you on them.
"But at the same time, [I feel a] little satisfaction that she's going to a rehab. But the last thing in the world I wanted was for my daughter to go to jail."
"This girl needs a rehab, she needs help. If Lindsay's lawyer and Lindsay would have just listened to us, she would have been in a rehab, she would have been on a the way to being clean and sober and have her life back. Instead, she got jail and rehab," he added. (ANI)
