Police recovers ammunition in Kolkata
Kolkata, Jun 29: Kolkata police detained three people for looting arms including 5000 bullets on Tuesday, Jun 29 morning.

Three people had fled when a traffic officials stopped a car bearing Bihar registration at Jatindra Mohan Avenue in north Kolkata, for jumping a red light.

Police found 5000 bullets for .315 cartridges, stashed under the seat. Police suspects that the bullets are possibly meant for the Maoists.

Police said that the similar weaponry were used by the Maoists. The case is under the investigation by the Special Task Force of the police.

CIB committee to submit report on ragging to SC

Chennai, Feb 22: The seven-member expert committee, headed by former Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Chief P K Raghavan to find out the means and methods to prevent ragging in college campuses, will submit its report before the Supreme Court in the first week of April.Talking to reporters, after a meeting with parents, students and college management representatives here today, Mr Raghavan said the Committee had visited Guwahati, Kolkata, Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Bhopal and Kochi, where they received some constructive suggestions.....
