Cairo, Jun 21: Gadahn, the US-born spokesman of al Qaeda warned US President Barack Obama that the militant group may launch deadlier attacks than before, which could kill more Americans.
The 24-minute message which dwelled on Obama's setbacks came on Sunday, Jun 20. The warning reminded Obama that relatively small number of Americans had been killed by the militant group so far, when compared to the number of dead Muslims. "So it becomes crystal-clear that we have not even begun to even the score," said Gadahn, who was dressed in a white robe and turban.
"That's why next time, we might not show the restraint and self-control we have shown up until now. Hundreds of millions of Muslims would still fight with US even if al Qaeda was defeated," he said.
Gadahn also mocked Obama as 'a devious, evasive and serpentine American President with a Muslim name'. "You're no longer the popular man you once were, a year ago or so," said the al Qaeda group spokesman.
