Afghan militants spread HIV, to fight UK troops
London, Jun 10: Taliban uses hidden needles to infect the militants of UK troops with HIV, as a means to pass its 'brutal' war.

They hide the hypodermic syringes below the surface pointing upwards to prick the bomb squad experts, when they hunt for devices, reveals the British newspaper Sun. The needles are feared to be contaminated with HIV and Hepatitis. If the bomb goes off, the needles will become the deadly flying weapons.

They not only use syringes but razor blades too, being buried this way. These tactics had been used in Afghan badlands of Helmand and was exposed by Patrick Mercer, an ex-army officer.

So protective Kevlar gloves have been issued to all the Royal Engineer and Royal Logistic Corps bomb search teams.

“Are there no depths to which these people will stoop? Is this the definition of a dirty war?" asks Patrick Mercer.
