The event, organized by the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) has four Tibetan beauties vying for the title.
In the talk and talent round, each of the contestants spoke about a different subject ranging from Buddhism and the Tibetan cause, to the environment.
"I think that all the four contestants are doing their best without any nervousness or getting scared. So we hope to do best and we'll prove that we are better than the other Tibetan girls and even later they can come forward and take part in this Miss Tibet," said Rinchen Choden one of the participants.
A test in performing talents followed the talk round and the participants showed their skills in singing or dancing.
Despite the contest in place for the last nine years the number of participants is still low due to the conservative nature of the community.
UB Group's Kingfisher has sponsored this year's contest as such it is officially named 'Kingfisher Miss Tibet Pageant 2010'.
The winner will receive a cash prize of rupees 1,00,000. (ANI)
