Ghaziabad, May 12: The Ghaziabad Court has awarded death sentence to Surender Koli for the murder and rape of Arti, one of the victims in the Nithari killing case.
Koli has already been given a death in the first case of the Rimpa Haldhar, the judgement for which was pronounced in 2009.

Nithari Killing: Koli's sentencing on May 12
A special court will pronounce the quantum of sentencing of Surender Koli, the convict in the second case of the Nithari killings, on Wednesday, May 12.
Koli was held guilty for the murder and rape of seven-year-old Arti by Special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) judge AK Singh on May 4.
The court was scheduled to sentence Koli on May 5 but it was postponed till May 12.
Arti, who disappeared from her home in Sep 2006, is one of the 19 women and children whose body parts were found in a drain.
Koli has also been held guilty in the first case of Rimpa Haldhar, while his employer Moninder Singh Pandher was given a clean by the Allahabad High Court, after Pandher claimed that he was in Australia when Haldhar was killed.
