New Delhi, Apr 30: In the latest development on the Jharkhand issue, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to put on hold its decision to withdraw support from the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) government.
The decision was made after the parliamentary board meeting headed by party President Nitin Gadkari.
Announcing the BJP's decision, party General Secretary Ananth Kumar said that the two letters send by Shibu Soren and his son Hemant was taken into consideration by the board.
The party General Secretary said that the party will talk to allies and state leaders on the government formation in the state.
JMM chief Shibu Soren will remain as the Chief Minister until futher notice, he said.
He said that the withdrawal has been put on hold to save the state from the misrule of the Congress.
