Trinamool MPs accuse West Bengal Government of promoting 'state-sponsored terrorism'

New Delhi, Apr 20 (ANI): Trinamool Congress leaders staged a protest inside the Parliament here on Tuesday and accused the West Bengal Government of promoting 'state-sponsored terrorism'.

They demanded that action within the Constitutional framework should be taken against the West Bengal Government.

"We can't overlook murder of a person even for a day but in West Bengal for the last 35 years there is state sponsored terrorism. How long will the bloodshed continue?" said Trinamool Congress leader Dinesh Trivedi.

"We want action within the framework of the Constitution," he added.

There are reports that West Bengal's ruling Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) and the main opposition Trinamool Congress are at loggerheads ahead of 2011 Assembly polls. (ANI)

CPI(M) bandh call in Nandigram meets mixed response

Nandigram, Oct 29: There was a mixed response to the CPI(M) sponsored 12-hour Nandigram bandh that began at 0600 hours today.
