Brit dad gets three-year road ban for drink-driving Barbie toy car!

London, April 20 (ANI): A man from Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, has been banned from driving for three years after he was found driving a toy car, which had a top speed of 4 mph.

The 40-year-old father-of-four Paul Hutton was stopped by the police outside his house, where he was caught driving an electric Barbie car.

Officers found 6-feet-tall Hutton cramped inside the car with his knees right below his chin. The police detained him in a cell after he was tested to be driving with twice the permissible limit of drunken driving, reports The Daily Express.

When produced in front of the court magistrates in Colchester, he admitted that he was a "complete twit."

"You have to be a contortionist to get in, and then you can't get out. I was very surprised to get done for drink-driving, but I was a twit to say the least," Hutton said.

"It is designed for three-to-five-year-olds. Originally it was pink - I put bigger wheels on it but it's not fast. I'm not unhappy with my punishment, just a little bit surprised," he added.

Hutton was given a mandatory three-year ban because he had a previous drink-drive conviction within the past 10 years.

He was fined 85 pounds and given a twelve-month conditional discharge. (ANI)
