K'taka CJ Dinakaran wins, Govt defeated
Bangalore, Apr 9: With Karnataka High Court Chief Justice Dinakaran refusing to go on leave, the Government is considering him to transfer to the Sikkim High Court on Friday, Apr 9.

The decision was taken by the Supreme Court Collegium consisting of Chief Justice of India KG Balakrishnan, Justice SH Kapadia, RV Raveendran and Dalveer Bhandari.

The Supreme Court Collegium took the decision in the light of reports that the judicial work of the Karnataka High Court was being affected as Dinakaran was not been performing any judicial work since Dec 2009.

Chief Justice Dinakaran is currently facing allegations of corruption, land encroachment and abuse of judicial office.

With this decision by the Supreme Court, has raised many serious concerns not only over the law and order of Sikkim but also over security across the border of state.

The government continues to give step motherly treatment to North Eastern part of India.

When Chief Justice Dinakaran is not good for Karnataka, how can he be considered good for the state of Sikkim?

This will only upset the residents and legal community of Sikkim. This unhappiness will make China more strong towards claiming Sikkim being part of China.
