Jammu, July 15: The University of Jammu conferred an honorary degree of Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa) on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today. The degree, embossed in golden letters and wrapped in a specially designed paper mache frame, was conferred on Dr. Singh by Jammu and Kashmir Governor Lt Gen S K Sinha (Retd) at a special convocation held at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium. This was the first honorary degree received by Dr Manmohan Singh.....
