Bank of Baroda announces recruitment plans

New Delhi, Mar 19: Bank of Baroda (BoB) has unveiled some huge recruitment plans for 2010 as it is looking to hire 1200 Probationary Officers (PO) in Junior Management Grade/Scale 1.

The bank has also invited applications for 2000 clerical positions.

New Delhi, July 28: Bank of Baroda has reported a 102.57 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 330.84 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as against Rs 163.32 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The total income also increased to Rs 3,024.80 crore in Q1 FY07 from Rs 2,192.87 crore for the same period during previous fiscal, a press release said. UNI.....

Mumbai, Jan 31: Bank of Baroda today categorically stated that it had no immediate plans to reduce the lending rates as the current net interest margin of three per cent was just adequate enough. Bank Chairman and Managing director A K Kandelwal, announcing the third quarter results of the Bank to presspersons, however, said ''we are a thinking bank and we always take a wait and watch attitude''. He was responding to questions from pressmen in the wake of RBI.....

New Delhi, Jan 30: Bank of Baroda today reported a 52.23 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 501.05 crore for the quarter ended December 2007, as compared to Rs 329.13 crore for the same period a year ago. The bank said in a statement that its total income has increased from Rs 2,668.11 crore for the quarter ended December 2006 to Rs 3,620.18 crore for the quarter ended December 2007, posting a 35.68 per cent rise. Bank mof Baroda is a cheater. In advertisement they declared LUCKNOW is the only center in U.P. . But later on they declared Kanpur,Allahabadand Bareilly also as centre for written test.But they alloted for resident of Kanpur to ALLAHABAD AS CENTTRE , resident of Lucknow to Bareilly as centre and so on. Therefore thousands of candidates who are from poor class or lower middle class are debarred from written test automatically.
