SC order on Gujarat riots challenged by Jethmalani

Jethmalani challenges SC on Guj riots
New Delhi, Mar 15: Just days after the Special Investigative Team (SIT) summoned Narendra Modi for questioning in connection with the post-Godhra riots, suspected attempts from the Gujarat chief minister to avoid SIT questioning are surfacing.

On behalf of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Kalu Marwari, a well-known and controversial criminal lawyer Ram Jethmalani on Monday, Mar 15 filed a plea in Supreme Court seeking recall of the apex court's order of SIT probe into the role of Narendra Modi in 2002 Gujarat riots.

This move is being seen as an attempt by Modi to legally question the role of the SIT. Modi is one among the 63 accused in the case.

On Thursday, Mar 11, Supreme Court appointed-SIT summoned Narendra Modi in connection with the 2002 riots.

Congress should learn some good values and best administration policies from Mr. Modi. As far as asking somebody else to resign on moral grounds - they have no moral even to ask. They should have asked Mr Praful Patel, Mamta Banerjee to resign. what a bunj of jokers - this party has?
