Bangalore, Mar 8: In the wake of the raging controversy, Swami Nithyananda appeared on the official website of his mission Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam to assure his devotees that he has not indulged in anything illegal.
The spiritual guru, who is seen clad in saffron, in the video posted on Sunday, Mar 7 told his devotees, "I assure all of you that nothing illegal has been done by me or my organization. We are in the process of collecting evidence to establish this lie and the motive behind this false campaign."
Promising to appear before them soon to clarify on the issue personally, Swami Nithyananda urged his followers to not to "rush to judgments before all the facts have been tabled".
"Please wait for some days; we will collect all the facts and present it clearly to you all. I thank all devotees and well-wishers for standing by me during this moment of challenge," he added.

Swami Nithyanada's whereabouts are unknown while his spokesperson has claimed that he is attending the ongoing Kumbh Mela.
