3-year-old Indian murdered in Australia

Melbourne, Mar 5: In a fresh attack on Indians, a 3-year-old boy was found murdered in Melbourne on Thursday, Mar 4,  night media reports said.
 
The victim identified as Gurshan Singh was on a holiday with his parents. His body was found near Melbourne airport by council workers, after a search operation was launched after the toddler was reported missing for home on Thursday, Mar 4.

Australian authorities have appealed to citizens to maintain calm as they try to track down the killers

Warning against jumping to conclusion, Deputy police commissioner Sir Ken Jones said that the incident is being treated as a homicide.

He said that police would do everything possible to find out the reason behind murder.

"We are not ruling anything in or anything out," he said.

"If foul play has taken place we will do everything in our power to find out what has taken place and to bring people to justice," he added.Members of Indian Communities while  expressing shock over the killing of the three-year-old Gurshan has condemned the incident .

Australia charges Indian doctor in UK bomb plot

Melbourne, July 14: Australian Federal Police said today they had charged a 27-year-old Indian doctor over his alleged links to the perpetrators of attempted car bomb attacks in Britain on June 29 and 30. ''He has been charged with providing support to a terrorist organisation,'' a police spokesman said. The charge against Mohamed Haneef carries a maximum penalty of 15 years in jail. He is due to appear in court in Brisbane later today......

Soooo... the indian media have gone quiet upon discovering that the boy was killed by one of his own. Convenient.
