40 tertiary-level multi-specialty Hospitals to be set up

New Delhi, Feb. 24 (ANI): Minister for Railways Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday announced setting up of 40 Tertiary-level Multi-specialty Hospitals during the Railway Budget for the year 2010-11.

The hospitals will be established at Asansol, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Bhuj, Bhusawal, Bina, Bokaro Steel City, Chalisgaon, Chandigarh, Dankuni, Garden Reach, Guwahati, Haldia, Howrah, Kanchrapara, Kantabanji, Katihar, Kharagpur, Kota, Krishnaraja Nagar Old Station, Malda Town, Miraj, Mughalsarai, Nalgonda, New Bongaigaon, New Farakka, New Jalpaiguri, New Mal, Paglachandi, Purna, Rajkot, Rampur, Rampurhat, Ranaghat, Rangapara North, Rewari, Sawai Madhopur, Siliguri Jn., Vijayawada and Wardha. |Electrification of new Rail sections announced|National[New Delhi{New Delhi, Feb.24 (ANI): Minister for Railways Ms. Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday announced electrification of three new rail sections which will be taken up during the next financial year.

The three new rail sections include: 1.Gondia-Ballarshah via Nagbhir, 2. Daund-Manmadm, 3.Khana-Sainthia-Pakur and Pandabeshwar- Sainthia.

She informed following sections being under active consideration for electrification:

1.Vizianagram-Raigada, 2.Mathura-Alwar-Rewari-Hissar, 3.Guntakal-Bellary-Hospet-Vosco de Gama,

She said in addition to above, feasibility studies for the following sections will be undertaken:1.Bardhaman-Katwa-New Farakka including Katwa-Ahmadpur, 2. Chheoki-Manikpur-Itarsi, 3.Chhapra-Varanasi-Allahabad including Bhatni-Aunrihar and Phephna-Indara, 4. Garwa Road-Chopan-Singrauli including Chunar-Chopan, 5. Pakur-Kumedpur including Gumani-Sahibganj, 6. Angul-Sambalpur-Jharsuguda, 7. Kiul-Tillaiyya-Manpur, 8. New Bongoigaon-Jogighopa-Kamakhya, 9. Bankura-Rainanagar 10.Fatwa-Islampur-Bakhtiyarpur-Rajgir, 11. Vijaywada-Niduduvolu including Machhlipatnam and Narsapur, 12. Falaknuma - Umdanagar, 13. Secunderabad - Medchal (ANI)
