If SRK needs to apologise, so does Big B: Raj

Raj Thackeray batting for Shahrukh Khan?
Mumbai, Feb 11: Bal Thackeray's estranged nephew and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray has brushed aside Shiv Sena's war against Shahrukh Khan and his new movie My Name Is Khan as 'noise' and questioned why Amitabh Bachachan is being spared.

Registering his first response to the raging dispute between the political party and the actor at a press conference, Raj said, “Such a noise is made over Shah Rukh Khan for this one statement of his, but no one is saying anything about Amitabh Bachchan singing poetry with Pakistanis for a newspaper."

"They are demanding an apology from Khan for his remarks on Pakistani players. But Bachchan was seen a couple of days ago sharing the dais with Pakistani artistes and reciting poems. If Khan has to apologise, then why not Bachchan," he stated on Wednesday, Feb 11.Shiv Sena is protesting against SRK's new film over the actor favouring participation of Pakistan cricketers in Indian Premier League (IPL).

It should also be noted that Amitabh Bachchan had recently hit the headlines for writing a blog praising Bal Thackeray and his son Uddhav. Big B was talking about Shiv Sena leaders after they hailed his new film 'Rann'.
