Iran is now a nuclear state: Ahmadinejad

Tehran, Feb 11: Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced that the Islamic republic has produced a first batch of uranium enriched to a level of 20 percent.

Iran is now a "nuclear state", Ahmadinejad made the announcement in a speech at Tehran's Azadi (Freedom) Square on Thursday, Feb 11.

"I want to announce with a loud voice here that the first package of 20 per cent fuel was produced and provided to the scientists," he said.

Ahmadinejad, however, insisted Iran has no intention of building atomic weapons.

"When we say we do not manufacture the bomb, we mean it, and we do not believe in manufacturing a bomb," he was quoted by news agency as saying.

On Tuesday, Feb 9, Iran had announced that it was beginning the process of enriching its uranium stockpile to a higher level.

Iran should not arouse concern. Iran can actually build nuclear bomb, but will not attack any country. Georgia is the most dangerous flashpoint. The Bible says: "At the appointed time [the king of the north = Russia] will return back [will regain the influence, which it lost after the break-up of the Soviet Union] and come into the south [many indicate that this might be Georgia], but it will not be as the former [1921] or as the latter [2008]. For the dwellers of coastlands of Kittim [the West] will come against him, and he will be humbled, and will return." (Daniel 11:29,30a) Then Iran will be humbled also. "But ships will come from the direction of Kittim, troubling Asshur [Russia] and troubling Eber [inhabiting on the other side the Euphrates]." (Numbers 24:24a, BBE) At that time, peace will be taken from the earth and the "great sword" - nuclear sword - will be used.
