New Delhi, Feb 10: Petroleum Minister Murli Deora on Wednesday, Feb 10, held talks with political parties on the proposal of increasing fuel prices.

According to sources, Deora met A Raja, telecom minister and senior leader of UPA's ally, DMK, to build consensus for freeing petrol and diesel prices, and marginally increasing kerosene and LPG rates.

Deora is likely to settle at Rs 25 per cylinder hike in LPG rates and 1 ruppee a litre raise in kerosene prices, sources added.
