Ruchika case to be heard in-camera
Chandigarh, Feb 8: In the latest update in Ruchika case, a court here on Monday, Feb 8, ordered in-camera trial against former Haryana police chief SPS Rathore.

The decision was taken by Additional District and Sessions Judge Raj Shekhar Attri.

The trial will be open to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Rathore and complainants.

Media persons have been barred from covering the court proceedings.

The case will be heard by the court continuously for three days on Feb 8, 9 and 10.

The CBI special court had held Rathore guilty on Dec 21 for molesting 15-year-old Ruchika, a budding tennis player who later committed suicide.

He was sentenced to six months' rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1,000.
