CWC meet to discuss price rise issue
New Delhi, Feb 5: The Congress Working Committee on Friday, Feb 5, will meet to discuss on price rise.

Presided by Congress President Sonia Gandhi, the meeting is expected to deliberate on ways and means to tackle the situation at a time when food inflation was alarmingly high.

Food inflation has moved up to 17.56 pc, potatoes became dearer by 44.91 pc and pulses by 44.43 pc year-on-year for the week ended Jan 23.

The meeting assumes significance as it is being held a day before the conference of Chief Ministers convened by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on price rise.

'Nationwide agitation on price rise from Aug 16'

Vijayawada, July 9: Communist Party of India (Marxist) Central Secretariate Member V Srinivasa Rao today said the party would conduct a nation-wide agitation from August 16 to 31 on the issues like price rise, unemployment and alleged anti-people policies of the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre. My dear all Concerning the inflation (Manghai). It just a weekness of the Government They need to deal firmily against hoarding and creating artificial gap between demand and supply. Govt need to apply the existing acts /law on such, curb the traders monoply at any cost. Confacicate the undeclared stock and hand over to PDS. Checkcorruption at all level. Regsrds&compliement.

All the matters discuss in the CWC meeting between Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh is fake..i don't think so that they are doing something good for the public,nowadays the rate of everything is going high and the rate of gas is increased by 100.00Rs and petrol by 3.00 Rs,And at the time of election the rate of petrol is only 40.00 Rs. I don't know what they are thinking about themselvels... only they are thinking about their parties and "KURSI".......
