Mahindra Satyam recalls 2000 VPP employees

Hyderabad, Feb 2: In a sure-shot signal of the fraud-hit Satyam Computer Services' recovery, the company, rebranded as Mahindra Satyam, has not only started off hiring but has also reportedly recalled about 2,000 of its virtual pool employees.

The company introduced the Virtual Pool Programme (VPP) for close to 10,000 associates in Jun 2009 in a bid to retain 'excess' talent pool.

Besides this, Mahindra Satyam is hiring up to 200 fresh graduates and 200 lateral employees in FY11, said a Times News Network report.

The Hyderabad-based IT services provider also started giving pay hikes and bonus from Jan 2010.

Mumbai, Jun 24: Tech Mahindra has named CP Gurnani as Mahindra Satyam's new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Gurnani who was the international operations president at Tech Mahindra succeeds AS Murthy, who was appointed by the government board after the Satyam fraud broke out.The company revealed that it will be raising funds through private placement, or the qualified institutional placement (QIP) route. This is in an effort to repay loans it had taken in Apr 2009 to acquire a majority.....

IT giants eye Railways' outsourcing deal: Report

the news is just to increase the share value in the market. otherwise i would have also called for the written test as i am fulfilling the criterion of above 70%. also after reading the news that they have called selected students for written test i called them they even didnt picked my phone and when they picked up they started transferring the call. if any one from 2008-09 batch got an offer letter from them then please reply to this message.
