Indian on alert for LeT aerial strikes
New Delhi, Jan 22: The news that Pakistan-based militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) has gotten its hands on over 50 para-gliding equipment has left the Indian government worried about country's safety.

Intelligence inputs informing the government of the LeT's shopping spree in Europe has given birth to fears of air-borne terror attacks.

This input comes just four days ahead of the Republic day.

In view of the national celebration, the authorities have stepped up the air security especially around all important buildings and installations, sources reveal.To be prepared to thwart any aerial threat, security agencies have already carried out mock drills across the country.

The warning also comes after intelligence inputs from the west alerted India on LeT and other terror outfits' plotting to hijack a plane.
