New Delhi: Sports Minister M S Gill said on Friday, Jan 22, that the Commonwealth Games shooting range is ready and would be inaugurated within 15-20 days time.
Gill said, "We started work on it last year and everybody thought the stadium won't be ready before the Commonwealth Games, but it is ready and will be launched in 15-20 days time."
"The shooting range is going to be better than the Beijing Olympics one," he claimed.
The Sports Minister was also full of praise for the reconstructed Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium.
"The hockey venue will be launched on Sunday, Jan 24, and it is going to be the best hockey stadium in the world," he said.
"It has been lavishly built with every kind of technology. It is ready for the World Cup," Gill added.
