New Delhi, Jan 21: Responding to Pakistan's new allegations against India over the perceived IPL snub to its cricketers, External Affairs Minister SM Krishna said that Pakistan should know where to draw the line.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Jan 21, Krishna ruled out government's involvement in the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction and the alleged snub dished out to the Pakistani cricketers.

Earlier, Pakistan responded strongly against the 'insult' at the IPL auction and threatened to respond a 'befitting manner'.

"India or any other country that does not give respect to Pakistan will be treated the same way by us. If there is a desire to improve Indo-Pak friendship, respect should be given to Pakistani sportspersons," Interior Minister Rehman Malik was quoted as saying in the media.

The issue started off when none of Pakistan's 11 players, including current Twenty20 captain Shahid Afridi were signed up during the Tuesday, Jan 19 auction.The two countries have a long history of conflict over the disputed region of Kashmir, cross border terrorism, among other factors.

The communication and peace process between the two countries was frozen following the Mumbai terror attacks in Nov 2008.
