New Delhi, Jan 15: In what comes as a huge blow to Indian tennis, Sania Mirza has decided to hang the tennis racket after marriage.
"As of now, I don't intend to play professionally after marriage but that is still some time away," the ace said.
The country's top ranked woman tennis player got engaged to her childhood friend Sohrab Mirza in Jul 2009.As per reports the player's decision is an independent one as both father Imran Mirza and her fiance said that Sania will be free to go back to playing professionally after marriage too.
This has left the country wondering what is the reason behind Sania's decision.
