New French law will ban 'psychological violence' in marriages

Washington, Jan 6 (ANI): Shouting at your wife may get you a criminal record in France, all thanks to a new law set to take effect later this year.

But French psychologist Anne Giraud has called the law a "gimmick," claiming it will be difficult to implement.

"Squabbling couples will allege all kinds of things about each other, but they won't necessarily be true," Giraud told the newspaper. (ANI)
