Nevada brothel Shady Lady Ranch starts serving up men

London, Jan 6 (ANI): Nevada brothel Shady Lady Ranch is set to legally offer the services of male prostitutes for women, thanks to the recent change in health code.

In the past, Nevada's state regulations demanded that all licensed prostitutes undergo regular cervical testing for sexually transmitted diseases - a slight problem for men.

However, the law has now finally been changed, with male prostitutes now able to undergo urethral testing instead.

"With so many male revues going on in Las Vegas, we thought it was time to give this a try," Times Online quoted Bobbi Davis, proprietor of the ranch, as saying.

Davis said that her first two male employees will be hired as soon as her establishment gets approval from officials in Nye County.

So far, the Shady Lady's madam has received applications from 150 candidates, with by far the most of them coming from Detroit and Las Vegas, where unemployment rates are among the highest in the US.

However, not everyone is pleased by Davis's experimentation - especially not rival brothel owners, who fear that the addition of men to their line-ups could re-introduce AIDS to the profession, after 25 years without a single case. (ANI)
