Tharoor describes meeting with Krishna as excellent

New Delhi, Dec 31 (ANI): Union Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor has described his meeting with External Affairs Minister S M Krishna as excellent.

Tharoor posted his comments on the social networking Twitter on Thursday.

"Sorry abt(about) silence ydy (yesterday).1stday (first day) back, full schedule. Excellent mtg (meeting) w (with) EAM Krishna on wide range of fp (foreign policy) issues," Tharoor stated.

On Wednesday, Krishna said to have publicly ticked off Tharoor for questioning the new visa rules through Twitter.

"Saw visiting colgs (colleagues) fm (from) Missions abrd (abroad)," he said in a latest comment on Twitter.

Krishna had asked Tharoor to be "on the same page on policies dictated and decided by him." (ANI)

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 28 (ANI): Former United Nations diplomat and writer Shashi Tharoor on Saturday filed his nomination papers from Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha constituency.Tharoor filed the papers before District Collector Sanjay Kaul at the collectorate here.He was accompanied by former MP from the constituency V S Sivakumar, MLA N Sakthan and District Congress President Mohan Kumar.haroor will have to face a tough challenge from Left Democratic Front.....

Shashi Tharoor asks Sri Lanka to give Tamil civilians an honoured place

Chennai, Apr 29 (ANI): Former United Nations diplomat and writer Shashi Tharoor has asked the Rajapaksa Government to give a devolution package to its Tamil civilians to give them an honoured place in the country.Tharoor recalled that the Sri Lanka Government had announced a couple of years ago that it would give a devolution package to the Tamils. In effect, it would give the Tamils a homeland with in the united Sri Lanka."I speak purely on personal basis, just.....
