Pak soldier strays into India, held

Pak soldier held in LOC
Srinagar, Dec 30: Security forces in north Kashmir's Kupwara district arrested a Pakistan regular who strayed into India on Tuesday, Dec 29.

According to official sources, Sarfaraz Ahmed, an infantry from the Mujahideen brigade was near Neel border post by army personnel.

Ahmed is under the custody of army authorities who are probing the real motive behind Ahmed's reported stroll in LOC.

Officials in New Delhi said that Pakistani soldier is likely to be handed to be sent back after investigation as per the cease-fire agreement between India and Pakistan.

The arrested soldier will reportedly be handed back on Wednesday, Dec 30, official sources informed.
