Infosys to launch its 2nd project in Orissa
Bhubaneshwar, Dec 30: IT major Infosys will soon set up its second project in Orissa at an investment of Rs 300 crore, official sources said on Wednesday, Dec 30.

According to sources, Infosys human resource director T V Mohandas Pai conveyed the investment plans to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here at a meeting last evening.

While as many as 3,000 IT professionals were busy working at the first Infosys project in the state, Pai said about 5,000 workers would get placed at its second project.

The second project would come up at IT valley on the side of the National Highway no-5 between the state capital and Khurda town.

The state government has agreed to provide required water and power to the second project.

Mumbai, Mar 14: The Sensex opened with sharp decline today by over 450 points in early trade on Bombay Stock Exchange following a setback on the global bourses.All Sensex stocks opened in red with heavy losses, as there was panic selling across the board. Biotechnology major Biocon forays into nephrology space

Bangalore, Mar 09:  Biotechnology major Biocon on Thursday forayed into the nephrology space with the launch of a portfolio of five renal therapy products for the domestic and global markets, which it said was cheaper compared to MNC drug prices.
