Dubai journalist detained in Iran
Dubai, Dec 29: Caught in the midst of a violent clash on the tenth say of Muharram, a reporter from Dubai TV was detained in Iran on Sunday, Dec 27.

The detention of Reza Al Basha, Dubai TV"s Iran correspondent was confirmed by the news channel after he reportedly lost contact with his family and the channel on Sunday, Dec 27 during violent protest in Iran

“Iranian authorities have confirmed that Al Basha has been detained as of on Sunday afternoon. We are working through our news center in Tehran to resolve the matter with the concerned authorities," Ahmad Al Shaikh, Managing Director of Dubai TV said.

Shaikh said that the channel was trying to resolve the matter with the concerned authorities through the news center in Tehran.

Basha is believed to among the 300 people arrested during the violent clash that broke out between the government forces and protesters on Ashura, the tenth day of Muharram.

The 27-year-old journalist hailing from Iran was last heard informing his family that he was caught up in downtown Tehran.

It's too bad - the USA get Iran angry to everyone, but the other folks suffering. It's not fair. Once more I'll call on everyone - no violence, db2b.info - make business.
