Twitter buying startup Mixer Labs
San Francisco, Dec 24: Twitter is buying Mixer Labs to help it map tweeting locations.

The deal between the popular mciroblogging site and the startup was announced on Wednesday, Dec 23. However, the financial terms of the deal was not disclosed.

Mixer Labs was founded by former Google employees. They developed a location-tracking tool called GeoAPI.

GeoAPI would prove helpful to Twitter by showing where people are as they share what they are seeing or experiencing, CEO Evan Williams said.

London, Feb. 10 (ANI):A Twitter account purporting to be written by the Dalai Lama has been suspended after being exposed as a fake.
