Narain Kartikeyan eyeing US opportunities: Report

Chennai, Dec 24: India's first Formula One driver Narain Karthikeyan is reportedly considering opportunities to join the US NASCAR series.

Speaking to DNA, 32-year-old Karthikeyan also revealed that he has tested for a new team.

"I tested for Starbeast Motorsports just three days ago at Daytona (international speedway)," Karthikeyan is quoted as saying.

"It's all open now and I have lots of options. By January, something should be finalised," he added.

Rey takes over as president of Renault F1

London, Sep 4: Renault have appointed Bernard Rey as president of their Formula One team in place of the departing Alain Dassas. Dassas, who presided over the team's second successive double world championship success last season, was named earlier as chief financial officer of Nissan. Rey is currently senior vice president in the Renault CEO office and takes over at the Formula One team, run by Flavio Briatore, on September 17.
